PSOBLTA v The Roehampton Club – 13th June 2015

It doesn’t come much better than grass court tennis at The Roehampton Club, South London in June, with this being our inaugural fixture both teams were keen to field strong pairs and lay down a marker for future fixtures.
With kind weather, and some superb tennis a hard fought draw was a fair result for both teams (although if you look closely you will see this was technically a PUBS victory due to sets won, please note the set in bold and underlined).

- The Roehampton Club: 2nd pair : Bruce Walker / Ross Connolly

- Johnny Barr & Andy Hill beat Ross Connolly / Bruce Walker 6-3 7-5 / beat Chris Archer / Richard Ground 6-3 7-5
- Austin Coventry / Pete Gillespie lost to Chris Archer / Richard Ground 4-6 2-6 lost to Bruce Walker / Ross Connolly 4-6 , 6-4 , 0-1
