I am delighted to report that the PSOBLTA recorded a 3-1 win against the AELTC and won The Peter Jackson Cup! This is the first win since 2000 and following in honour of Vitas Gerulaitis wise words, “Nobody beats the Pubs 14 years in a row”!
The PSOBLTA team consisted of Jonathan Cooper, Rob Blythe, Ben Gordon-Smith and Russell Dykes. All were delighted to play in such grand surroundings of the AELTC and playing on the superb grass courts. As always, the match was played in great spirits, competitive and friendly.

The first round of matches saw the Association going two-nil up; with one incredibly close match going to the wire, 10-8 in the deciding champions tie-break. The second round of matches was evenly split which led to a delighted PSOBLTA team recoding a 3-1 victory.
The Association is always honoured to play this fixture, which is the highlight of our fixture list, our huge thanks goes to the AELTC for their continued support and hospitality on the day, which was second to none.
