It gives us great pleasure to announce that our Annual Dinner speaker is Mick Desmond. Mick has recently retired as Commercial & Media Director of The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC). Since joining the AELTC in 2010, he oversaw a major transformation of the AELTC’s commercial business which included extended and enhanced partnerships across the media and sponsorship sectors, significant development of the Wimbledon brand including the AELTC’s digital strategy, the insourcing of retail and host broadcast, and a fundamental step change in income growth to enable Wimbledon to deliver on its ambition to be the pinnacle of the sport.
We are very grateful to Mick for agreeing to join us. There will be an opportunity for questions so please come armed with any you wish to ask.
