The first round of the 2019 D’Abernon Cup qualifying was held indoors at Stoke Park on Saturday, 6 April.

Five teams of Old Boys were playing, representing Bradfield College, Harrow, Oundle, Stowe and Westminster College. It was an excellent morning of tennis and all matches were played in good spirits and was a closely fought battle for the top two spots.

Old Westmister qualified in first place with four wins and closely followed by the Old Bradfieldians in the runner-up position. Congratulations to both those teams for progressing to the quarter-finals.

Our thanks go to Stoke Park for allowing us to use their excellent facilities; and our thanks to the teams and captains for attending.

We now await the results of the two other qualifying rounds over the coming weekends at St. George’s College and David Lloyd Raynes Park to see who else will complete the draw for the quarter finals.
